Function The high-energy UV-C light triggers a photochemical reaction. The wavelenght at 253.7nm is absorbed by the cell nucleic acids and, depending on the irradiation dose, leads to the inactivation of viruses, bacteria and fungal spores. Because of this, the UV-C light can be used for targeted inactivation or damaging of up to 99.99% od microorganisms (such as bacteria/viruses, yeast and molds).
Assembly/maintenance The high-quality housing is equipped with high efficiency UV-C lamps, a high-performance, very quiet fan and a filter. Furthermore, an LED service indicator is installed for an integrated display of the operating hours. Delivered plug-in ready with a 3m connection cable.
